Race to Save Lives – Training

Yesterday we had tropical storm Fay. Fay brought lots of wind, rain, and even some tornados. I was scheduled to train for 30 minutes. The weather seemed to simmer down at about 6:00 pm so I decided to go out for a run.

As soon as I stepped outside the wind almost carried me away. So I was faced with a decision; 1. blow off the training for the day or 2. find a way to train in doors. Well, I chose option 2. I ran indoors for about 30 miniutes. I was even able to work up a good sweat.

Tomorrow I go for a outdoor run. It’s important that I get use to the atmosphere. Hopefully the weather permits.
